Don has accepted the position of Director of Anglers Feeding America. Don has a varied and unique experiences as an outdoorsman. His fields of expertise cover hunting both rifle and archery as well as fresh and saltwater fishing. Don has appeareed on the American Fishing Television Show, Good Morning Arizona Television Newsmagazine and the Fishing with Johnny Johnson Television Program in addition to conducting/participating in bass fishing seminars at various sporting goods stores in the Southwestern Region. In addition to tournament fishing, Don currently hosts the "Shake, Rattle & Troll" radio program on 2 stations, KFNX 1100AM and NBC 96.1 FM in Arizona.
After several back and forth conversations, Don McDowell has joined AZTBF as our new Conservation Director. This now fills all of the electoral and appointment positions of AZTBF. Many of you already know Don as a long time local B.A.S.S. member, from other circuit tournaments and from his weekly radio shows. As a long time member of our community, it's great to have Don on Board.

It is my pleasure to inform you that Military Families Foundation, Inc. Board of Directors has invited you to become a voting member of the Board of Directors, effective immediately. We appreciate your willingness to help the foundation support our Military Personnel, REserves, National Guard, Veterans and their families as described in our "Mission Statement".
We have established a tentative date of January 10, 2012 as our first meeting of 2012 and will inform your of the time and location in early January 2012. It is our hope that you will be able to guide us in our plans to create more family oriented, outdoor activities that can help our Veterans readjust to civilian life and create new, positive memories with their families.

Don McDowell was extended an invitation to the BASS Federation to join the Arizona Sportsmen For Wildlife Conservation organization and to be a participating member in the Wildlife Conservation Council, AZSFWC, an organization open to members of the public and to Outdoor Sportsmens Organizations.

Conservation Director for AZBFN, AZ BASS Federation Nation. Seat has been retained since the organization was formed and will go to next elections in December of 2012. (seven year chair) The Arizona State B.A.S.S. Federation nation is a chapter of the National B.A.S.S. Federation Nation.
The AZ Federation Nation is made up of BASS affiliated clubs throughout the state of Arizona. To be a member of the Federation nation, you must have a valid B.A.S.S. member number and be a member of a BASS affiliated club in the state of Arizona. The AZ Federation Nation exists to select teh Arizona State Team through a series of four draw tournaments each yea. It also participates in various charities, sportsman's conservation initiatives and childres's programs namely "Casting Kids".
